grumpysanta Posted January 27, 2008 Report Share Posted January 27, 2008 I passed on this trail yesterday from 16 island lake to the bottom and it looked like it had not been groomed in a week . I crossed the lake and it was in good condition with a little slush in the narrows but most of the pickets were not up . so i would say it was not concidered open to traffic from the club. The trail from lachute thru le caya to lousia and up to 16 island was in very good shape and lots of sleds on it , most lakes are not posted yet but were safe to travel if you follow all the tracks , no slush .
