iceman
Really? I was hoping to go from Stoneham to casino by sled. You're breaking my heart I'm hoping you don't care about your sled if you try that. Near Quebec City is done, finished, kaput, game over. No going from there or coming thru. Even leaving St. Raymond after this rain and warm all week will be iffy. i'm sure its much better up on 23 toward L'etape but getting to the good stuff is the issue. Around St. Raymond had to take a hell of a beating this week and the snow is going fast. Gaspe still doable and further east past Quebec probably still good. Saguenay/LSJ with the exception of up on Mont Valin will be ending very soon if not already. Grooming will cease. Everywhere in the next week or 10 days max. numecheng
Do yourself a favor and stay at fairmont le manoir richelieu. The place is amazing, and the snow up there is still excellent. The casino is right next door, with walkway underground to the casino. Saturday snowmobiled all day, got back, hired a sitter (booked directly through the hotel) and went to the Casino. My wife and I were at the Casino for about 20 minutes before hitting a progressive. Not a million dollars or anything, but Paid for our trip :) Cashed out, went to dinner, came back and gambled a bit more before calling it a day. Can't ask for much more.
