Not only that but usually if they do close then teachers and staff go to school anyway. Or not get paid. Well today they were told to stay home. Hammertime. The St-Maurice river is certainly not an option anymore but I've found some information here ( https://www.hotelsmarineau.com/sentiers-motoneige/conditions-pistes ) that let me believe I could go on a ride next saturday. Trails are all but finished near Shawinigan. For Snowmobiles. Surely there are still some parts OK but that is gonna be way up past Mattawin. If at all. Been raining big here 2 days going on 3 tmmrw.
