Revxman68
Hello all, I am new to this forum. I will be in Jackman Maine during the Free Quebec weekend of January 21 & 22nd and would like to try the trails in the Chaudiere Appalaches area. I was told that we just stop at the 1st club house after we go thru customs and get a pass. I have a couple questions. I have proof of my liability insurance in the US 50,000/100,000, is that enough to ride in Quebec? Any idea of how long it takes to get thru customs? Your input is greatly appreciated. Thank you and Happy Holidays. John
iceman
Lots of info here on free weekend. You need to print your passes before, you don't get at clubhouse. That is if you enter quebec and want to buy a pass.. season/week/daily. https://www.chaudiereappalaches.com/en/activities-attractions/snowmobile/snowmobile-open-house-event/ crossing border should not be too long i would think but never done it on sled myself. If anyone has a criminal record, DWI for example and they check then they can be refused entry just so you are aware. Cnc
As stated apply on line for the free pass ahead of time. Also just in case you are not aware, if you cross into Canada leave your firearms at home. Revxman68
Trailblazer
You'll also need a minimum of 500 000$ liability coverage. Revxman68

182ray
I have crossed at Jackman customs numerous times. Usually it took only a few minutes. There was a couple of times they make you come in side but typically was about 30 minutes or less. The Chaudiere Appalaches area is a great place to ride!
