When I started sledding the Gaspesie I had Gaspesie trail maps that showed the snowmobile trail Jean Guy is talking about to Faribault. There is a logging road that goes from La Cache straight to Groomers town, however it is partially or completely plowed most winters. That would make an trail!!!

you have a good memory ....

pic at the '' 30 '' miles.....main road for the faribault from town...you re 10 mins from the 41 ....at the 41 ...trail was on main rd to the faribault....

from the 41 and lower ....left side of the pic...down to the orange camp ....then to the lake 8 miles and town !!!

I believe if memory serves me right I came to you with a previous years map with that trail and you told me it closed the year before.  Neither of us had as much grey hair back then!

Good looking weather forecast for your area!  You needed more snow. Hopefully you don't end up with a head too big from celebrations tonight to groom tomorrow.

Happy New Year Mon Ami!!

seriously ,new years day ....always quiet on the trail...

snowing ...but still not very heavy ...

Hi JG, is that groomer from "our " clubhouse as well?

bonsoir mcstar !!!

right....they bought it a few years ago ....and the drag , 2 years ago if memory still good...

probably tougher to see....the garage of the club is 1000 ' from clubhouse using the street, south side ......and roughly half a mile using the trail ...its right on trail 587 ...right after crossing main st ...garage is on the right side...

What is your opinion on that type of groomer compared to the one you use?

bonjour sled dog !!!

saw your post last night...too asleep ...went grooming tq 5 !!!

'' bull '' work better and faster ....move faster..to work in big drifts.....mine move way slower...

...but need  more power under the hood...just hearing the sound of the motor....looks like always out of breath ...

they unhook the drag time to time in the bad spots...not me !!!

on mine i use ''bull '' if snow work great .....using the '' bull '' on mine slow me down too much ...don t want to take 15 hrs to groom tq 5 ...

i won t be shy to go in deep snow with mine....3 ' +...

before they had the gilbert in albertville....guys were used to the br....so , they did nt like much grooming with the gilbert ...

i rather work with gilbert ...

both have advantages and disadvantages...........all between the 2 ears !!!

grey sky this morning ....-12c

...and i think i met a group of americans last  night...half a mile  before 90' corner.......light green stickers !!!
