roughly 10-12 miles...hard to tell ...first time there by truck since 2013....my gps was a little bit rusty...

did nt go to fast ...lots of curve and narrow at many places...

yaaaa...thats hog's back !!!

a bit too close to the road...summer time...i don t like dust in my glass of wine !!!

...but winter...must be very nice to look at the traffic by the window

i heard a few years ago...some nice big cabins up there

thx all !!!

sadly , not much pics during the weekend

rain started around 6 pm ,saturday .....so , instead of riding with my 4w...went with my truck ...went up a stand for sunset pics...

...and i had let my wide angle at the camp.....while taking pics of the sunset ...there was a rainbow behind me...

splitted firewood saturday morning ...

yaaa...moose did nt stay in place for too long ....saw another one about 4 miles from there....already on the overdrive.....

i noticed yesterday when i came back in town ....salmon fishing season is open.....a bit of action in town !!!

there was a few salmon anglers at the '' forks ''

saw the moose for  20 mins...i was seating at the table since 2-3 mins and turned my head toward the brook.... ding !!! moose !!!

just too bad that stick was in the way ......

right !!!...the '' buffet '' is right there..

after rain or during light rain ....always take care to look on the other side of the brook ....

 

right playhard...i never bs a moose....always friendly ...

a bit of hail this afternoon ...for 2-3 mins...

i heard on the radio last week ....pq  government is going to spend 55 million $$$ for bud worms....

very grey at my camp !!!

The other thing that gets scary when it is at the that stage is the threat of a bad and fast moving forest fire.

grey is nt good....but if early , still can save a bit of the trees....then it turn kaputt 

i remember in 74 ,dad had made spacing on his wood lots....in 86 ,i was cutting the trees.....those in bad shape soft from the side to the middle....kaputt 

but some were still good ...some hard wood right in the middle...

i remember at the mill , they still buying it ,if not too in bad shape

ill try not to forget and take a few pics at the camp
