Tremblant and beyond

Thanks for reporting CNC, certainly the trails will take a toll in mild conditions and especially with 45 sleds in front of you.

Its too bad about Fort West, that was a good spot for a break when it was Relais des Pins also when the trail from Arundel ran up to it linking the Tremblant/St.Jovite trail but that all come to an end with the St.Faustin judgement, probably why they are suffering but good news as you mentioned, there will ne a link.

Wednesday Feb 8th. Just a quick weather up date. The big storm that was to dump heavy snow and freezing rain last night was not so big. We had snow and blowing snow from early evening till about midnight, then some freezing rain but not a lot, never got mild enough to turn to rain. The result is 4-5 inches of power snow covered by a thin layer of ice. Temperatures have been slowly dropping all day. Glade we missed the rain.

March 15. We have been in limbo here for several weeks with very poor trail conditions and no grooming. Trails were rock hard and lots of bare patches, rocks and no snow on the lakes only those folks desperate for a addiction fix, or planning to trade in their machines next season ventured out. We got about 8-10 inches of new snow overnight and both the Diable Rouge and Hebou Blanc clubs have announced they will be out grooming and have trails done for the end of the week.
