rcp1018
My group will be heading up this Friday. We're looking at starting in St Raymond or St Zenon then head up to Saguenay and then around Lac St Jean. I know the warm weather will be around until Thursday just wondering how the trails are holding up. Any info on good, bad and ugly would be greatly appreciated. revct1
There should be plenty of snow cover still. From St Raymond it is only about ten miles on the trail before you start to get up in elevation and better snow depth. We prefer St Raymond over St Zenon and I am sure others will say the opposite. Trail 23 out of St Raymond is usually groomed Thursday / Friday. If the groomers are out, it is a beautiful ride up to Lac St Jean. It is about 175 - 200 miles to the Lac from St Raymond. Make reservations so you won't be disappointed. As the snow melts in the south, more riders head north. PLAYHARD
Check out very positive recent posts in the Lac St Jean section. And GO! As long as you can, launching from the Roquemont in St Raymond is awesome.
Tourisme Charlevoix
SNOW ALERT! There's a snow forecast for the Charlevoix region for the next two days! Signifiant snowfall amounts are expected, as 30 to 50 cm in the area! There will be plenty of snow on the trails! actionjack and 182ray
