OK here are the mitts.

A nice natural dark brown color.  The fur lies towards the wrist for snowmobiling.  They made the wrist area where the strap is a little larger for my fat hands and the opening a little bigger to fit over the sleeves of my suit.  The palms have a piece of suede stitched over the leather for wear.  A little stiff but Sandi says the mink oil should soften them up.  Bring on the cold!

The mitts are making a big hit.  Thanks guys.  We are going to RDL this weekend.  A little late in the year to try them out but maybe I'll give them a try just to see.

I'd be interested to see the level of control with those mittens. I have been using Klim lobster claw mittens and they tend to catch the brake lever. Yours surely are beautiful.

Be careful with the seal fur.  I think seal is banned in the US.  I looked at them and they are really nice too.

Don't let Gemma wear them going thru Customs.

Thanks Jack. I did not know about that.

I didn't know either.  Sandi knew some furs were banned but wasn't sure which ones.  The worker at Bilodeau mentioned it when we were looking at them.

It's nice he warned you.

Gemma dropped one of her gloves ( red fox ) on the trail. We were hitch hiking to clova after my chain case bearing went. We found the Bilodeau at the Doo dealer in Mirabel.

Your photos make me want to visit the store.

The worker was a she and very nice.  It must have broke Gemma's heart when she realized she lost one glove.

It was a fun visit.  Thanks Bill for recommending them.

Always looking for things to do snowmobiling and this is kind of a cool stop.
