sledzz
I have about 6000km on my 2015 Renegade 600 Etec and considering a snow check this spring due to mileage on my current sled. It has always been maintained and dealer serviced. How many KM do you put on before you start to worry about reliability and trade in? Shore1066
We had 7000 miles on our 2015 renegade. I wouldn't have been afraid to put another 3000 miles on them. They were 98 percent Quebec miles tho. We bought 2018 850 renegade and the are a blast to ride. We bought them because of the 850 motor. But I have only heard good things about the new 600 motor ski doo has. 850 motor features I believe. I will diffently thing about that in a couple years. The 850 imo has more than needed power. But they are so much fun to ride. I don't think 6000 km,s is a lot if you ride in Quebec. But you have to look at trade on value I guess. Only my opinion
Shore1066
The 2015 sleds we had were 800,s.

revct1
That 600 is just broken in. 6,000 km = 3,600 miles. We keep ours 3 years and replace them no matter how many miles on them. Sandi has been riding 1200's. I had a 2010 Gade 800, a 2013 Gade 800 and now a 2016 Gade 850. The 800's went 12,000 and 15,000 miles without a rebuild. The 850 has 8,500 on it now. No problems. If yours has been properly maintained and not abused, you should get many more miles out of it. If you want to tell your better half that it has way too many miles and you need to get a newer sled, that is a different story. jak
I have the same sled, 9500 miles (not kilometers) and nothing but routine maintenance, runs and starts as good as the day I bought it. Did 180 miles today. But like Jack said, if you want a new one?
guyzoun
Every 3 years we change our 600 etec fleet (2 Ren X and Mxz X) averaging 15000 to 16000 KM.
quebec bob
I have owned a lot of sleds since the 60's, years ago I sold a guy my 1978 440 Yamaha Exciter, fan cooled, it had 17,000 miles on it. I ran into him 3 years ago, his grand kids are still riding it , with 40,000 miles on it. My friend in Maine , who does foundations and rides in the winter put 16,000 miles on his 583 ski-doo, in 3 months the first year it was new, and rode it 45,000 miles over 4 seasons, had a crank seal go bad, nothing else.So many people get out by 5000 miles, sled is just broke in, and you loose your shirt, very high cost per mile. Canadian trails are very easy on the sled and many come with up to a 4 year warranty, no mileage limit. Most of these sleds will go 30,000 miles quite reliably.Shore is right about the 850 power and the backcountry has a better track and lower gearing, quite a bit more pull than the renegade.I basically think about new sleds when it gets over 10 years old just because if I break down parts could become an issue, even at that age they still look brand new from all the groomed trails. PLAYHARD
2013 Apex XTX w/20k all Quebec miles, dealer serviced, zero problems, other than flinging a chunk of IceRipper! Jacques @ Copper in Murdochville offered his sled and/or p/u truck, but we just wound up grabbing a one-way Uhaul!
