Signfan
It's July so starting to think about where to go next year. Where will I find good trails in early December? Mont Valin is the obvious answer, but where else? Edited June 29, 2018 by Signfan
doonali
Same question as "what will the trails be like in two weeks?" Last season they were grooming 83 etc. south of the Saguenay before Valin.
Signfan
Understood. I'm just asking historically what do we typically see. New to riding in the province. Still learning the typical weather patterns. doonali
Cnc
Well then historically don’t expect much action that early in areas where trails rely on lakes rivers and swamps to interconnect. doonali
actionjack
Spend some time reading Early Riders and Road Runners Posts from past seasons. They are the ones that always seem to post early when I am wishing I could be riding already in December. Every year is different you have to watch where the snow starts to fall early. And then keep in mind you’ll have early-season conditions and lots of competition from other riders trying to get to the only places with snow. 800steve
The past few years Pelchat has been very good early.
Phil 1
23 North of St Ray is a good early location thur L’eTape North toward Herbertville. Last year Du Ravage got lots of snow early and often. Mirror mirror on the wall...
