Alerts for: Charlevoix

Winter storm warning in effect for: Baie-Saint-Paul area La Malbaie area a major winter storm is forecast.

From 50 to 70 centimeters of snow expected between tonight and Wednesday.

Evaluate the possibility of delaying non-essential travel until conditions improve. The rapid accumulation of snow will make travel difficult. Visibility can be suddenly reduced at times in strong snow. The snow will be accompanied by strong winds from Tuesday evening.

Amen!  Praise Jesus, Moses & Allah!  Hallelujah!

(Hoping the ground's good n cold)

If Quebec gets an equal amount of snow that we got rain yesterday the above is believable, it rained here in PA like mad for 18 hours.

November 27

solid 1’ of snow from this storm and still snowing. Wet heavy snow wreaking havoc for Hydro-Québec here in Mauricie. 29,000 people without power.

A few other tidbits

most snow on ground in November in 32 years.

To date 40% of the salt supply for the entire winter has been used up already.

28 November

storm over,

power back just now. Another 1.5” this morning before it tapered off. Wet heavy snow, surely lots of trees on trail. Took a beating here.
