Pipeman
Left on 2/3 from Drakkar heading to Lac Bouchette, Auberge Eva. Plenty of snow since our first trip up here 3 weeks ago. We took trail 3, 351/23 to the 355 to get there, mostly good but could use a grooming but hey for a Sunday ride it was all good! Heading to Nordic in Chibougamau tonight. snowmaster2112
pipeman, most certainly the dance hall across from the Nordic will be closed tonight as it’s monday. Ask the people at the hotel what’s going on with that place nowadays.

Pipeman
Lunch in Normandin right now trails to here were beautiful, still a diversion getting to the 93 that the trak map doesn’t show but no biggie

Pipeman
In Chibougamau now 3f and snowing nicely ! 93 to here was excellent the whole way, a few miles after the lumber mill it was easy to see they had a lot of carnage to clear off the trail. Trees bent and broken all over the place!
Pipeman
So to catch up... We got a late start and didn’t leave Chibougamau until 1:15 Tuesday so we shot down to Senneterre, long day but the 93 down was 👍
Pipeman
Wednesday we left Senneterre and took 93 west to La Sarre and down to Rouyn Noranda for the night. Some of the best trails we have been on to date! Abitibi as usual gets the award 🥇 for best trails. Pipeman
Rouyn Noranda to Lac Faillon was a little rough for the first 30 miles the trail was rough but it was labeled 83, seemed like a side trail. Rest of the way to Faillon was great! Carman
Pipeman
Woke up Friday morning to about 3” of snow a little freezing rain on top and now the wind was howling! Luckily the 83 all the way to Windigo from Faillon was in excellent shape. We hit several white out snow showers on the way and some downed trees and branches in the trail. Once we hit Haltaparche there was about 2” of fresh snow the rest of the way!! viper2
Pipeman
Windigo to Shawinigan today, trails were rock hard from the rain / freezing rain. Definitely need a few inches of snow to bring trails back into shape especially the closer you get to Shawinigan. dooright

Pipeman
Back home safe and sound , we had a great time and met many wonderful friends along the way. As always Reggie was a great host at Drakkar. Martine and Stephanie were a blast to exchange stories with at Windigo, both top notch places to stay. dooright and Carman
