Fuse6
Need suggestion for 2 nights lodging for 5 men in the Mont Valin area. Log Cabin at Passion or a Chalet at Auberge KM31 has my interest at the moment. Pro or cons for these locations or other suggestions. We will be coming from Forestville or heading to Forestville depending what direction we do our Saguenay- Cote Nord loop in so staying at the Delta or other hotel south of the river won't be ideal for this trip. Thanks, Steve
Phil 1
Food is equal. Gas at both. Riding is equal. Steer clear on weekends very busy area. Passion has a store and you can buy beer and drink in the unit. They also have a stay 2 nights get 1 free, we did it last year there’s also a washer dryer in that unit. 3 bed rooms and bath down and 1 bed and bath up. Liza and Vincent are great hosts. I prefer Passion and have stayed at both. View out the window at Passion. Fuse6
Grampsledder
We like KM 31. We stay in the lodge. Basic lodging but good food and friendly people. We priced the cabin last week but it was more expensive than the lodge. Never stayed at Passion. We don’t like to get back on the snowmobiles to eat. The log a-frames out front are smaller, but they rent the houses around the back street, easy walk to the resto/bar. Fuse6
Phil 1
This unit at Passion is not a cabin but it is right next door to the restaurant bar no riding to eat or drink. Edited February 22, 2019 by Phil

We were just up there last week. The restaurant that was up the road from gas has closed. The ski area had food. They opened up a yurt restaurant with good food but it is down the trail a short distance. Phil 1
LeFinca
KEEP MONT VILAIN IN MIND. GOOD FOOD, GAS AND GREAT TRAILS TO AND FROM( CAN GIVE YOU POTENTIAL TO BUY A PASS FOR A DAY IN THE ZEC, IF YOU LIKE FLAT TRAILS) GETS YOU OUT OF THE CRAZINESS WITHOUT ACTUALLY BEING TO FAR OUT. That would put KM 31 as the logical choice. Grampsledder
