Gaspe trail grooming

Does anyone have an update on grooming operations in eastern Gaspe? We're in Riviere-au-ren , just outside Gaspe and the TQ5  hasnt been groomed and according to the fcmq map it looks like all trails east and south haven't been groomed in more than 72 hours.  It's not good at all. On the other hand everything West of cap chat was outstanding. Any insight as to what may be going on in eastern Gaspe would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

We’re in Chandler.   Took the TQ5 from Grand Vallee yesterday because we had to meet our buddy at the dealer in Gaspe.  That was the 3rd “never again” on that section in our 8 times up here.   After 30 miles or so it gets better.   We took the orange trail from Gaspe to the 597 then south, it was great, groomed perfectly.  Highly recommend that.  It was a little bumpy again about 10 miles out from Chandler.   We plan to run up to Murdochville, cross the Chic-Choc trail and head south to New Richmond today.   Good luck.

The morning grooming map has been terribly inaccurate past two years. We had so many miles today of fresh groomed trails that weren't on the grooming map. Finding this a daily problem.

hi mike ....

found that strange yesterday that all the dated were all the same  on the link i posted ...

That section is bad more often than good, we just avoid it.

Are the rough trails because of heavy traffic or lack of grooming?

Lack of grooming.   We saw very few people on the 595 and it was choppy from La Cache to New Richmond.   The upper section was pretty firm and it didn’t look like a groomer had been by in a while.   Lots of snow up here.   Most of the trails have been in pretty good shape considering the snow.   Just a few sections to avoid.

Finding fresh groomed trails is a problem we all should have!
