smclelan
I heard there are bridges washed out on the 595 between La Cache and the TQ5 at St Paulin, closing that trail. Has anyone heard similar or if that section would get reopened this winter?

Has anyone heard similar or if that section would get reopened this winter? bonjour !!! from the club in matane !!! IMPORTANT MESSAGE - THE 595 BETWEEN ST-PAULIN AND THE TEMPORARILY CLOSED COVER Please note that part of trail 595 under the responsibility of the Club Les Amoureux de la Motoneige de Matane, between St-Paulin at Relais La Cache, is temporarily closed. The main cause: two bridges need to be restored following the flooding last November. The club, the FCMQ and main partners are working hard to correct the situation. For your safety, we recommend that you do not travel on this section as long as everything is not corrected. Blueblood
Just wondering when they have enough snow would they just build a snow bridge?
smclelan
Depends on the wash out, some of the brooks on that trail are fast and narrow. It is a key trail for loops but the 597 can be used as well.
