Sale of the "Relais St-Paulin" The Association of Hunters and Fishermen of Cherbourg-Dalibaire inc. is selling the "Relais St-Paulin" building belonging to him and located at 741, route de St-Paulin, Les Méchins (Quebec) G0J 1T0. The Association of Hunters and Fishermen of Cherbourg-Dalibaire inc. is selling the building "Relais St-Paulin" belonging to him and located at 741, route de St-Paulin, Les Méchins (Quebec) G0J 1T0. The buyer(s) of the building must be a legal person (company, association, club, etc.) to obtain a lease for community purposes. Otherwise, evaluation for lease for commercial purposes. The minimum sale amount is set at $52,100. This sale is made without any warranty other than that of the personal facts of the seller and at the risk and peril of the buyer. The Association will not provide any title or certificate of search or location. The purchaser will not require any demarcation, surveying, demarcation of the land, or location of the building. All costs necessary for the purpose of concretizing a possible sale are the responsibility of the buyer, in particular notary fees, if the buyer requires a notarial deed. The Association does not require a notarial deed under any circumstances. The purchaser agrees to complete the transaction within a maximum of three (3) months from the date of the confirmation of sale by resolution of the board of directors of the Association des chasseurs et des pêcheurs Cherbourg-Dalibaire inc. The buyer will have to pay all the costs related to the acquisition of the building. In the event that several purchase offers are received, the Association of Hunters and Fishermen Cherbourg-Dalibaire inc. will see to appreciate each project presented without relying solely on the price. Insofar as the Association accepts an offer to purchase received, a resolution to this effect would be duly adopted. The Association cannot be bound in any other way than by a resolution of its Board of Directors. The Association is not required to justify its decision regarding the rejection or acceptance of an offer to purchase.

It is up to the potential buyer to validate with the municipality whether the project to which he aspires complies with municipal regulations. The MERN lease for the land on which the building is located is currently a community lease. The lease may be modified, if necessary, at the same time as the purchase of the building for a commercial lease. The MERN must be informed of the proposed use of the building and thus determine whether the lease will retain its community vocation or whether it will have to be changed to commercial. Please note that the MERN offers its full cooperation to the buyer in the purchase process of the building, the transfer of the lease and/or the modification of the latter. The Association can send the contact details of the person to contact the MERN to any potential buyer, if the latter wants to have more information on the lease or possible projects. That is sad news.   Definitely a regular stop when sledding the Gaspesie.  Hopefully someone will take it over.  It takes a certian type of person to own and operate a business in a bit of a remote area.  I don't believe it is plowed in to there during winter.  I always stopped there and had a meal or a drink,  it is important to support remote businesses if you want them to survive.

Certianly an iconic stop in the Gaspesie.  It was a spot there was always sleds at.  You could ride from Matane to there not meet a sled, pull in the yard and there would be half a dozen sleds parked out front.  Go inside to warm up and before you leave half a dozen more sleds would come and go.

We stopped in three times this trip and have nothing but good things to say. Lots of staff, great food and a lovely fire! Make a point of stopping in.
