Wow that works out to -18 degrees Fahrenheit. And maybe he wasn't even wearing his jacket or appropriate clothing as he was sitting in a heated cab working with his coat laying next to him in the cab.

I guess he's lucky they didn't find him frozen to death.

The driver of the snow groomer at a Saguenay ski center was rushed to the hospital after spending several hours in his vehicle, trapped on the edge of a ravine.

According to the Saguenay Police Service (SPS), the snow groomer overturned at around 3 a.m. on Sunday while the employee was grooming the slopes of the Mont-Bélu ski center.
A tree pierced the vehicle from side to side and the man was trapped in the cabin, without heating.  Mercury dropped to -28 ° C overnight.
It wasn't until around 8 a.m. Sunday that employees realized the position of the snow groomer and his operator.
Firefighters, police, employees of the ski center and the City of Saguenay mobilized to try to rescue the victim in this very steep area.
"It was not easy, we had to bring in several heavy machinery, stored in different locations in the city," said LPS Marc Simard of the SPS to The Canadian Press.  It was the mobilization of several people that made the difference, I am very proud of the city of Saguenay, "added the police officer.
It was not until late morning that the driver of the snow groomer was removed from his vehicle for transportation to the hospital.
A mechanical shovel was eventually used to save the man.
He is said to be suffering from severe frostbite.
The police first feared for the life of the man who suffered from hypothermia.
In the afternoon, the Mont-Bélu station published on Facebook that "his state of health is considered serious, but there is no fear for his life".
The Commission for Standards, Fairness, Occupational Health and Safety (CNESST) has launched an investigation.
