largedaryl
Anyone aware of an update after the Feb. 8th date passed? Just book a room(S) and go. QPP and trail wardens have been great. If you don't have a pass, properly equipped sled (eg mirrors), proof of Ins, your drivers lic and don't act like a dick when you get stopped you won't have an issue. What was the reason then? A global scam just so Trump wouldn't get reelected?

Not going to happen my friend . Dr Tam who is in charge of the federal medical stuff says no way! Even if you are a returning snow bird you will have to do the 14 day quarantine even if been vaccinated. She says “ the vaccine might be 90 % effective but she is worried about the other 10 % “ WTF !! I get the whole safety thing and the quarantine thing but if it was left up to her there would be no cross boarder movement or any movement! That’s all fine and dandy if you got a government job and get paid no matter what but the rest of the world has to start making a living after a year of shutdown up here! Clearly, your type cannot rationalize with "my type" because you are factually irredeemable and have not discovered the truth yet. Based on your post you won't accept the truth even when presented with it. We can all only speculate why it was done and how outlandish the idea sounds but it doesn't negate the facts. The PCR test is a total fraud and it undercuts ALL media fear porn from start to carefully planned finished. I didn't make that chart. The cases ARE magically declining. Choose your own adverb if you like. Miraculously, stunningly, inexplicably. All good. Cases cases, cases, now MUCH fewer cases. That leads to the hope the border might open sooner than the end of this Dark Winter. Find the truth yourself and be sure to pick up a 50 box of disposable masks along the way to add to the billion already in the oceanic garbage patches. Shore1066
I live on the border and truckers say it's really easy to cross. It seems it hasn't effected the trade between the two countries. This is good but does the virus hide in any imported or exported materials. Only a question. I wouldn’t not be betting on it being open to freely pass. If it reopens it will be with negative test results in hand and a quarantine upon arrival, just like it is now by air arrival. At the rate they are vaccinating here it will be more than 3 years before Quebec is fully vaccinated(unless they seriously ramp it up) I don’t see them moving that fast. Like stated earlier even those vaccinated still must quarantine on arrival as of now. Seems the confidence is not very high for the efficiency of these vaccines. Pretty amazing when you think about it. Years of searching for a Cancer Vaccine, (cure) no dice. still no vaccine for Malaria, Dengue Fever, HIV/Aids many others as well. But, along comes the worlds most deadliest virus ever seen. Covid 19 and Bam, in less than one year we have multiple vaccines that everyone must get. Hmmmmm? All about the money. No big wars going on to make money with so what’s even better? World Pandemic, yeah that’s the ticket. PLAYHARD and doubler 1
actionjack
It is worse than you think. The "vaccine" took hours to concoct. https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2020/12/moderna-covid-19-vaccine-design.html No vaccine has ever been >90% effective. Malarkey. Shore1066
Yes, truck driving. They get though the southern border in trucks. I think I could get 10 sleds and a enclosed area big enough for 10 men. We had a large loader bucket come over and the driver told me he barely stopped. What about custom agents. Government should be saving money because they should be laid off. RIGHT. PLAYHARD

The U.S. guards are laid off on the Southern Border, not needed anymore, surely the North should follow. Unfortunately that won’t help you cross north to Canada. Those are Canadian border agents, not deemed unnecessary by our Government. God Bless Merica. Open Borders and Open Arms. Taxpayer Funded. I've been doing short rides in QC based out of my own camp, but "with family or alone" was the previous direction. With all my burn downs in past years, and no cell service, I am gun shy on the alone part in remote areas. Getting old I guess. Looking to see if I am legally allowed to ride with a few friends, as 3 of us have camps very close to each other in QC. Just trying to avoid hassle/risk of a stupid fine... I have all the other obvious things as u mention above. PLAYHARD

If you ride on separate machines, stay 6 feet apart when stopped, wear a mask and sanitize your hands if you go inside to pay for gas or order take out food to eat on your sled your ok. We have been doing just that as are the other groups of sleds we come across. Skiing has also remained open in QC but you have to be members of the same household to share the chair lift otherwise single occupancy. Having said all that spring break is coming and though they have been discouraging travel between regions, there is now talk of setting up checkpoints to limit travel to sensitive regions. If you are a commercial truck company you can. Many of the snow birds who left Canada on a flight, ( legal but land crossing is not ) had a trucking company deliver their cars directly to Florida. In many cases they only flew to Plattsburgh and picked up their cars from their trucking company there. One company was regularly advertising their services for this loop hole on Face Book this winter. PLAYHARD

Just turned 2000km... been stopped at least 6 times by QPP or trail wardens way up the line. Like I said earlier.....zero issues Most of today’s loop which was very good for the most part. actionjack and PLAYHARD
