Hello, me and a small group of riders from south of Ottawa are looking to do a trip to gaspe next week and are looking to find out if we are allowed in gaspe and if we would be allowed there or if there is any restrictions? Any info is appreciated.
thanks

You are good to go, Ottawa is Orange and so is Gaspe, so you shouldn’t have any problems. Just respect the curfew, 9:30pm.

Exactly

orange to orange zone no problems

some places will require only the people with same address in hotel rooms

and each relais and restaurant you need show ID to verify from zone orange

maximum 2 adults per table

From Gaspe tourism office.  Basically you are subject to red zone rules even though you're in an orange zone.

Although travel between regions is not recommended by the Government of Quebec, it is still possible for visitors from other Canadian provinces to visit Quebec at present. However, you must respect the sanitary measures in place throughout the province (wearing a mask in indoor places, washing your hands, physical distancing of 2 meters, etc.), but also the sanitary measures in place in the Québec red zones. The main disadvantage for you is that you will not be able to eat in restaurant dining rooms, but you will be able to use delivery or "take out" services, if the restaurant offers it. It is therefore necessary to plan your meals. There is also a curfew from 8 pm to 5 am. Here are more information on restrictions of red zones :

·         FCMQ : https://fcmq.qc.ca/en/snowmobilers/covid-19/

·         Government of Quebec : https://www.quebec.ca/en/health/health-issues/a-z/2019-coronavirus/progressive-regional-alert-and-intervention-system/level-4-maximum-alert-red/

Given the current situation, before you travel, please be sure to book your accommodations and check with tourism companies to find out how they are operating. Please feel free to visit our website (https://www.tourisme-gaspesie.com/en) for updates. Rest assured that local companies are following the recommended public health guidelines.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.

We look forward to welcoming you to Gaspésie!

Best regards,

Viviane

Ontario's chief medical officer of health is recommending a 14 day quarantine when you get home.  Not legally enforceable, but a recommendation.  Check where you work.  If in any sort of public management position you might want to reconsider.  Lots of gov't employed people getting turfed over traveling in the last few months.

Yes that's what I'm led to believe.  If you're from an Orange zone in Quebec Orange zone rules apply to you in any of the Orange zones.  If you're from a red zone in Quebec or from out of province red zone rules apply to you regardless of where you go in the province.  Obviously if you visit a red zone red zone rules apply.
