hi gt rider !!!

from what i ve read ,tq 3 is closed between franquelin and godbout .work has been done by a compagny other than the club and the club l ammi judge it NON SAFE to groom it in a safe manner.they are not talking about a detour or re routing .

Hi Groomer,

I have not yet been on the TQ3 in Cote Nord. I was hoping to make the trip from Escoumins to Havre-Saint-Pierre. If it is not passable I will have to make other plans.

Thanks For the translation. You are a great help to us in the snowmobile community.

Hi Momo,

A couple that we ride with rode trail 3 last week. They slept at Les Escoumins and headed east on trail 3. The trail is open to Colombier or actually just past Colombier. The trail is locked closed with a gate where the pickup truck used to escort the sleds across the bridge at River Betsiamites. If you have been out there in the last couple of years you will know where this is. You can also find it on the map.

They rode back to Colombier and hired a pick up truck and trailer to transport them to Baie Comeau. At Baie Comeau they took the ferry to Matane so I don’t know if and where trail 3 opens after that.

If the trail is open at Godbout, you could ride trail 5 on the south shore, which is usually a very good ride, from St Nicolas to Matane and then use the ferry to cross to Godbout and ride east from there.

Jack :D
