  1. Try using an heating element from one of BRPs tank bags and put in behind the GPS in it's cradle, it'll keep that battery from freezing up.

  5. Doesn’t look promising for the winter, the trail is not even on the app anymore. i really liked that trail especially the off trail links you can get from the end points.

  7. Took the 43 south down to the 53 9/10, 53 up to relais Mulet for a quick bite then the local back to the 43 all 9/10. 43 back to base camp 75 klms. I have to say the clubs are doing a great job with what they have, some of yesterdays trails were on first grooming and to my surprise it was a lot better than I could imagine. Now the warm up next week, let’s see what that brings us.
  8. Got it set up just right last season now it’s an animal!

  10. Jan 20 2024 finally got a chance to blow off the cob webs. Saw there was a few green trails on the app and couple possible loops. Out the door at 10:30 am with my new lake friend in training. Rail bed into town a 10/10, 43 east to Lac des Plages 8/10, east of lac des Plages the 43 to the first fork going to St.Remi was not groomed, a single path trail for 10 klms and one open creek crossing. At the fork we head north to the local that will connect us to the 323. Did a 5 klm lake crossing in La Conception which was all staked, had a few slushy spots and a few frozen slush areas too but not a rough ride across. 323 into Labelle for the first trail side break, this trail was first groomed that morning, surprisingly it was pretty good 6/10. Up La Petit Train du Nord 325 to 63 into Nominigue for gas, all groomed to perfection 10/10. Back track to the 319 for our descend down to La Minerve, 319 was a 8/10. Took the shortcut to get on Lac Chapleau and cross, lake trail is staked, careful of the frozen slush parts. 319 through the parc and back on the 323 and 43 for the return, 43 got a little rough from the day. Back at le chalet for 5pm. 226 klm loop for the first ride of the season, awesome day.
  11. Now there’s a ménage a trois
  12. I’ve changed the spindles for a pair with 1 inch offset.
  13. With the news of the Pessimite agreement and now the completion of several bridges on the North Shore Sept Isles, Havre St. Pierre and Baie Johan Beetz is now at our grasp. Below is the translation of the arcticle 🎉 NEW ACHIEVEMENTS 🎉 In the heart of Minganie, one of the largest snowmobile footbridge construction projects in the country is ending, namely the construction of 5 footbridges, 4 of which will serve the FCMQ trail. For almost 2 years, winter and summer, our team has been building footbridges on the Tortue, Aisley, Romaine rivers as well as Lac Cormier. We would first like to thank the SEIE, Les Constructions Mackenzie as well as the Innu Council of Ekuanitshit of Longue-Pointe-de-Mingan for their trust in our organization. Thank you also to all our subcontractors who participated directly or indirectly in the realization of these projects. Without forgetting, a huge thank you to all our valuable employees who brought these major projects to fruition! 💪 Footbridge over the Tortue River 23 ml long. and with a capacity of 20 t.m, this footbridge should allow the resumption of maintenance of the trail east of Sept-Îles which had been ungroomed for several years due to this missing bridge towards Havre-St-Pierre. Cormier Lake Footbridge 235' long and with a capacity of 10 t.m, this footbridge is located above the Romaine 1 reservoir at km 19 of the access road to the Romaine complex dam site (trail outside the FCMQ networks) Footbridge over the Romaine River Located more or less 12 km west of Havre-St-Pierre, along route 138, two footbridges were necessary to cross the river due to their width as well as the size of the Romaine River. The Romaine Ouest footbridge is 55 m.l. long. and with a capacity of 10 T.M. The Romaine Est footbridge is one of the largest cable and suspension snowmobile footbridges of its kind (suspension bridge) in the world, according to our research. With a capacity of 10 t.m., it allows a resurfacer and its equipment to circulate. It has a length of 167 m.l. or 550’. P.S. For snowmobilers wishing to visit the North Shore and the Lower North Shore in the years to come, check if the trails will really be maintained by local clubs http://quebecrider.com/forums/uploads/monthly_2023_12/IMG_0530.thumb.png.0615aa9d6d7f1a17399e6cc5902454be.pnghttp://quebecrider.com/forums/uploads/monthly_2023_12/IMG_0531.thumb.png.20c8c822a4867a6d15813024ae5c572e.pnghttp://quebecrider.com/forums/uploads/monthly_2023_12/IMG_0532.thumb.png.51d52b4f582643fd504d1e06731dd9f0.pnghttp://quebecrider.com/forums/uploads/monthly_2023_12/IMG_0533.thumb.png.c9e0345d40f6ba5227885aaa19aab808.pnghttp://quebecrider.com/forums/uploads/monthly_2023_12/IMG_0534.thumb.png.8c2530e62878b45add1db2852045f92d.pnghttp://quebecrider.com/forums/uploads/monthly_2023_12/IMG_0535.thumb.png.dbdb08efe747bf21f4acb3db358a58b1.pnghttp://quebecrider.com/forums/uploads/monthly_2023_12/IMG_0536.thumb.png.a7e9967ef4c6e1254ed896d75de45363.pnghttp://quebecrider.com/forums/uploads/monthly_2023_12/IMG_0538.thumb.png.220e256ed033c8e14f81b1cb834477c4.pnghttp://quebecrider.com/forums/uploads/monthly_2023_12/IMG_0539.thumb.png.10bff0a872943e996e4a8a5135409eca.png
