  1. Great write up and pics, thanks for taking the time! You did catch some good trail for sure. Unfortunately, more proof that every corner is a crapshoot, just hope the oncoming riders learned something too..
  2. Thanks for the write up and pics, I know it's time consuming, but greatly appreciated!
  3. Thanks for the write up an pics! Also interested in those helmets, my concern was if they were going to be warm enough for Quebec. Sounds like they will be? The good looked great and the bad is ugly.. I'd be pretty surprised if there wasn't lots of winter left up there.
  4. Sorry to hear about your friend's diagnosis, I hope he has many winters of riding left.
  5. Great pics and report Alain, always nice to do some weekday riding
  6. Great area for dong loops. You are coming from the West, so East and South would be the easy options: East - To Rimouski via the 5, I like to take the 518 by Saint Simon instead of the power lines the whole way. You can easily loop out as far as St. Gabriel de Rimouski and then come back on the 35. I think that's a pretty common loop for people riding out of RDL Not necessarily a loop, but a day trip to Moose Valley, NB and back is an awesome ride, and if you are short on miles, you can easily make them up on the way back by dropping below Lake Temiscouata South - I've had some big days riding south between RDL and NB. Not a big area but you can spend the day zig zagging on the trails there, never touching the same trail twice and never far from where you started. If you want to really add miles you can drop into NB West of Edmunston and have some real good running there too. Lots of running and lots of trail side stops in that area.
  7. The last few times we stayed at the Comfort Inn Rimouski. Not the Ritz, but not as far off the main trail as L'empress and not as much asphalt. The Bovino Grill is a good supper restaurant and is just a short walk up the street. Used to be a few clubs there, not sure if they survived Covid.
  8. Great report Alain, many thanks for taking the time to do it, helps us fellas riding along on the couch..
  9. Great pics. Truly looks better than I thought it would.
  10. Lots of snow left up there, going to be mowing grass soon down here..
  11. Happy Birthday Jean-Guy! Great catch on the coyote, typically just a blur when I see them! Preston
  12. Geez, you got a lot of hardware under wraps there...Hope it works out that the north is on the menu for next year.
