I apreciate all the feed back and still working on a plan. Wanted to as if anyone knows of a place around Matane (or Cabano) that offers secure parking and a place to stay. The reason I am thinking Matane is it is about a 7 hour drive for us in good weather and 10 in bad.Plus it gets us east enough for a nice loop. The sled den is to far to drive. Always open for options. Thanks

Just another question from a newbe. What is cell phone corerage like up there if any? I am figuring there cant be much if any cutting across the middle. Also what do people that use Verizon do as far as roaming fees. I have work related contacts that I should be doing once in awhile. Thanks

Anyone have any GPS tracks of trails or off trail that they are willing to share? I have a Garman and have the topo so it would be nice to be able to use someone elses tracks as a referance. I have tracks of northern VT through Pittsgurg on up to Fort Kent Maine if anyone wants them.

I am in charge of planning a drive and drop off saddlebag trip to Gaspesie for a group of 3-4. We are looking for a place to drive to park (safe) spend the first and last night there and saddle bag the rest. On trail for 5-6 days. We would be looking for second week in March, planning on getting in Sunday night so most would be mid week riding. We have done the Kirby VT to Fort Kent a few times and want something differant. Looking for a base motel and must see places or places recomended to stay. And places to stay clear of. We travel 200-250 miles aday depending on conditions. Thanks in advance
