Today we started a eight day 1500 mile saddlebag trip with Myself, Eric, Ken, Dan, Randy, and Kurt .Started in Saint Raymond and on to Sept-Iles. First 10 miles was snirt but not real bad. Got much better after that. All the way to Mount Apica. Rough for 20 miles after their then Pretty good almost all the way to the Delta. Was not bad getting into the Delta with wheels on the skis. 185 miles for the day.

Looks like they’ll cross the two bridges and head down 93 on the east side of the river?

Not yet, we went straight north to Jonquiere. Might cross on ferry 2nd last day if  conditions get better there.

Correct, like most of you hate the idea of Mount Valin on a Sunday but that’s our best choice unfortunately

Today’s path took us from the Delta to Escoumins through Mount Valin. The Chapel was crowded but service is second to none. Trails leaving Jonquire, where acceptable once we got over the second bridge they got much better. The orange Trail past lor Piste was a little rough. Plenty of snow but needed groomer. Once we hit Trail 330 it was a 10. Surprised to see how much snow is here in Escoumins being near the river. There Has to be 25 trailers here must be a good starting point. Couple guys came from Sept-Tiles and said the trails are perfect all the way. Can’t wait!

Looks great...hopefully you won't have too much black top getting gas and rooms...and maybe you will get some of that maintenance snow each night in the mountains for a little frosting on the cake...trails look incredible in spite of all the negative talk...have a great ride tomorrow.

Parking lots are no problem anymore, I finally put wheels on my sled supposed to get couple inches of snow tonight

Day 3. Escoumins to Baie Comeau. 175 miles. Another sunshine day made for mild temperatures in the high teens. Trails were very good, except for about 30 miles, which were OK, but had chop in all the turns. The building by the water in the last picture is our hotel for the night. Le Manior

Very nice to see snow on the bridge...good mileage for a crew that big...have a great day tomorrow...nice section you are heading into.

Day 4. today we traveled 180 miles from Baie Comeau to Sept-tiles. Last 125 miles was slot, car fast and smooth. Had about 15 miles of rough stuff 25 miles east of Baie Comeau. Woke up to bright sunshine again this morning. Tomorrow we start heading back on similar route that got us here.

looks great ...do you think it can survive a warm up at the end of the next week

Would like to take the GF from Pointe a la Croix-Matane-Baie Comeau- Sept Iles-Godbout-Matane-Relais LaCache-PALC..

You guys are making it sound very doable as far as conditions are concerned.  I really like from BC to Sept Iles, it's a great and fun run.

You should be fine if it’s only a day or so of warm up

Day 5. Today we started our way back to our starting point. It’s going to take four days and another 720 miles to get back. Woke up to 5° below zero and finished the day 25° with sunshine all day. We took a beautiful side trail today to add another 15 miles to the ride so it was 190 miles today.

Been in this parking lot many times, I assume the supermarket ride to this hotel is all black...lots of great side trails in this area that go 25 miles to dead ends...have a great ride back...a week is too short...you are just really starting to enjoy it...then life calls you back!!
