5 Day ride 3/10 - 3/14

Got to St. Raymond at 12:30 on Monday. Had lunch, loaded up and left 2:00 p.m. for the Delta. Trails were a 10 the whole way. Where were the only sleds in Le Tape... very strange and only passed four sleds all day. Made it to the Delta by 8:30 with a 1 hour break for lunch at Le Tape. Good thing, because the kitchen closes at 9:00. A picture of my 32 oz Rickards red beer.

Wed. Decided to go around Lake St Jean today. Took an  outer loop which added about 20 miles. 250 Mi total for the day. Only passed a dozen sleds today. The first couple days we thought about only following purple trails as they were groomed recently but then we realized that it didn't matter what color the app said... even if they were groomed 36 hours ago it didn't matter because no one was on the trails still nothing but 10/10 on our third day.

Had to wait for the train in Desbiens but only about 10 minutes so wasn't too bad.

Thursday we did the Clermont Express as Saguenay Bill used to call it and went to the Auberge du Ravage for lunch. Today we passed about two dozen sleds. Trails were a ten all day again.

On Friday our last day, took our time. Left the Delta at 10:00 had lunch at Mont Apica where we saw about 30 snowmobiles. Mostly guys from Quebec City going to mount Apiica for lunch and then back to Quebec City. The trails on the way back today were about an eight from all the traffic but who's complaining. All in all fantastic trip 1,016 MI. With the warm up this Saturday and Sunday being in the 50s up there all the parking lots and roads will be completely bare but they're still tons of snow in the mountains. There must have been five to six feet in the mountains.

We were going to do the Gaspe but heard the conditions weren't good so we went to Lake St Jean instead. Oh well, next year

looks like you and Terry had a great trip and certainly didn't starve. Those desserts looked awesume. I thought your 1200 was red. Thanks again for the pics and videos. Hopefully next year I can meet up with you and Tom

Monday Tuesday and Wednesday to start off at 0 and we're in the twenties Thursday and Friday in the 30s. I was amazed how many people were trailering up to ride on Saturday and Sunday when the temperatures were in the 50s. That's just too hot for me I can't even wear my gloves at that temperature
