Thanks for posting. I am an early type of guy. Proposition number two will buy me about ten liters of gaz. Assuming there are good enough conditions for me to ride.....🤐

Last season was prop 2 at $415 and $440.  Will be interesting to see what they select.

Very good. Thank you.

Finally they brought the Vintage sled price back down at 400$ last year that was ridiculous, I think they should have several categories not just one, a 2003-2006 REV is considered Vintage but IMHO they are not even close, I would have a category everything up to lest say 1990 is a reduced price and then from 1991 to 2002 a other price.

The one to seven day category is a little expensive also, I understand they are trying to get people to buy annual passes, but not every one that owns a sled expects to ride during the winter and might at some point go a a few rides with buddies and get a day pass, if it was cheaper they would probably sell more and have less people just going and lets see if we get caught.

300 for a week is expensive...but nowhere else is even close to Quebec...and I bet a lot of USA riders come for a one week vacation and it drives a lot of revenue...which is desperately needed...I can't think of any or many other vacation activities that only cost 300 a week...just consider what a single bridge on the trail costs...a fishing guide on a salmon river in Quebec is near 1k a day...quickly puts it in perspective...it's been said here before...snowmobiling is no way to save money

Obviously it is co$ts a lot more than than just the trail pass. But everything is is expensive anymore. My recent  trip to Newfoundland cost $300 U.S. per day for my wife and I for for food, fuel, logging and ferries.

MUCH more frustrating to me than cost however, is the shrinking season, further complicated by preventable trail closures.

I think having to buy a $900.00 permit trailside if/when you get caught without one in Quebec is a VERY strong deterent. How old your sled is doesn't matter at that point.

$425 CAD , Sweet . That's about 10 bucks a day USD for me !

I have never seen a patrol actually charge someone $900.00 trail side for a pass, I am curious how many passes are sold trail side at that price in a year?

I think they made the right choice.  I'm in for an Oct seasonal purchase.  Have went both ways (1 and 3 day passes vs seasonal) over the years.  The math is usually right on the mark of could go either way with the number of days I get out of province vs riding at home.  The nice thing about seasonal passes is it's one less thing to worry about.  I tend to go for shorter duration trips as well.  Day here or there when I can get away from work.

This price chart is not even close to any of the three proposed ones, where did they get it if no one voted for it?

The 325$ proposed price for antique category is now 400$ that is a big difference.

I like the 415$ for the Oct 1st category tho!

The chart posted above 12 hours ago is for this past season. @iceman reported on 31 May 2025 that proposition 2 was adopted for the 2025-2026 season....

At 30 percent exchange...this season pass for US riders is one of the best deals on the planet...unless we get a reciprocal tariff added on...which I would completely understand...hell a day of skiing is 300 dollars these days ...

I'm not promoting higher prices...but ..when I buy out of state hunting and fishing licenses to use some other state or countries resources...I always have to pay more than the local residents do...and I understand that...for a sport that is facing escalating costs and labor to maintain status quo...it puzzles me to understand how and why non residents are not charged a higher rate for access to what we all consider the very finest trial system on the planet. At this point everyone understands what it costs to operate and maintain this sport we all love ...and the last thing we want to do is financially operate like a government ...AKA...in the red...we all know that's the day it's over...and we don't want to go there...nothing wrong with having a little money in the bank

Yup. I am more than willing to pay. I just don't want anymore preventable unfounded trail closures.

Antique is considered 2005 or older. If Quebec is like Ontario there are quite a few locals and young guys riding older sleds as there trail sled. That fact may have been part of the pricing decision.

Unless I am reading something wrong, the price for antique is $325 for the upcoming season.
