Auberge Motel Drakkar – Open | Snowmobile Trail Access Available

Auberge Motel Drakkar, located in Shawinigan, Quebec, is currently open for the season.

Please note that the snowmobile trail is open and passes directly in front of the motel, offering convenient access for riders.

At this time, the motel does not yet appear on the Fédération québécoise des clubs quads (FCMQ) website, but we are fully operational and welcoming snowmobilers.

I motoneige shows the trail from the Drakkar as red/closed. Looks like groomer is only going into Mcd's and GasStation. Is it open and groomed into Drakkar? Arriving there monday.

Can easily get out of Drakkar.

Looking forward to riding the Ringy Dang Doo trails.

Just stayed at Drakkar monday thru thursday with a group of 4 and did loops from there.

New owner Rohen and his wife are great. And their English is good. Always a plus for the Anglophone only community.

Motel is the same setup Reggie left. However, they are not snomo savvy, at least not yet.

First ride out Tues morning the trail had not been groomed this season. Club left a big mound of pushed up snow where the trail leaves the gas station trail and heads to Drakkar, effectively advertising it as closed, of course we popped over it.

I got Rohen to call the club and guess what, they needed $$ and then theyd groom. No suprise. Wednesday the club had it groomed and back to normal.

I mentioned to Rohen to put up some signs leading in from the trail, starting on Trail 3 - free advertising. Also he should get on here and elsewhere as a advertisor. We were the only folks staying there this week and the trails were perfection. I tryed to explain the potential this place has had and can have again.
