Here is a couple pictures from locally in Nova Scotia on the SXS.

Yesterday I finally got out on the Wing for the first time in 2026. 356 mile ride to Northern NH. I visited a friend, and my Grandparent's graves.

As soon as I saw your first pic my mind instantly said Evans Notch. Fun road during the winter on sleds too!!

Finally. My wife Nancy and I got out for the first boat ride of 2026.
The boat is 72 years old now. Built by my Grandfather circa 1954. Known as Pépère's boat. I am now older than he was when he built it.... 😲 Beautiful day out there today..

Yes indeed.

I would have to say it’s pretty serious riding when you are cranking out 400 mile days on the regular like it’s no big deal. Cheers my friend. How many miles do you have on that bike? Love seeing everyone out burning petrol and having fun. I do carry a roll of TP on the sled and SxS. It’s easier without the insulated bibs on….that’s for sure

I only have 46,000 on my 2018 Goldwing. The wife doesn't ride anymore. I put 221,000 on my 2001 Goldwing. I wish Honda made a snowmobile..... I carry emergency provisions in all my vehicles. Haven't had to use it, and hope not to.....

Emergency provisions are nice to have, it's like have a insurance policy, nice to have hope you don't have to use.

Quick road trip to check snow levels, not enough yet, but optimistic it will be better in two weeks.

Another little ride today. Got to the top of the Rock pile. I typically get up there annually.

Nice 👍. I haven't been up in over 20 years. Never on a bike. I'm sure it was a blast!

I try to make up on the bike every year. It was very clear when I took my cousin from Colorado up last year.

Been on the Kanc many times. I grew up just to the south in Tamworth. My old snowmobile club had an unmaintained trail from Wonalancet to the Kanc. Our old club president and his son used to cut it out once a year so the forest service didn't take it away. I never made it all the way through.

I did make it up the clubs unmaintained Liberty Trail up to the Liberty Cabin on Mt Chocorua many times. There was some sidehills near the top that sometimes needed some benching with shovels before going across. There were also a lot of rocky brook crossings that sometimes needed dealing with depending on snow depth and type.

Funny story. We had a club ride up once with our 72 year old president and his son. There were around 10 in the group. We cut and benched the trail on our way up. When we got there a group of hikers were there. They weren't happy that we were there. They all got together every February and spent the weekend in the cabin. They thought our club having a trail to the cabin would make it a popular spot and ruin future February trips for them. We explained that the only reason we were all there was to help our club president cut and open the trail because it was something he did every year. It's not a trail the average trail rider is going to do.One of the biggest reason we maintained the trail was to make it easier for search and rescue to access the mountain when hikers got injured. Our club president was also a long time member of the local fire department and his son was Fire Chief at the time. Our club president pointed to where he has had helicopters land to rescue hikers. You could tell that it still bothered them.

The next day there was a search and rescue call from the mountain. Our 72 year old club president ended up taking one of the guys that weren't happy we went up to the cabin off the mountain in a sled behind the clubs Super Wide track. The hiker that was rescued made a donation and joined the club for several years. He was still a member when I moved to Vermont.
