Rode in Derby yesterday and it is early season conditions for sure. Alot of water holes and rocks. The rain will not help, they need some more snow and  grooming to get it going.

maybe shoot up to weldon and ride north from there

I think you mean WEEDON?

I'd consider going to Montmagny or RDL; as 800steve said, we've had rain/sleet past two days and temps have been mostly above freezing. Weedon isn't far enough north to get to the riding imo.
