Membership has always been cheap, like $100 per year for an individual, and they recently started offering shorter-term subscriptions.

They don't just send a heli if you have a belly-ache, they may dispatch ground rescue depending on severity & accessibility.

Can anyone tell me if the Saguenay-Lac St-Jean is considered south of the 51st parallel? Looking at doing this on Our trip this winter. Pretty good deal considering what it would cost if you had to use it. The temporary protection plan doesn’t cover South of the 51st parallel.

so that plan isn't much good for snowmobiliers as very few trails are that far north.

You can get a seasonal plan that covers both north and south of the 51st parallel that would work. correct? 3 months for $50.00 Canadian.

Re wording

No idea.  Never dealt with them.  I was just good with Google to look up co-ordinates.  I'm sure they offer something.  I think I'd be checking what my private health coverage will pay for before subscribing.

We get the 3 Month Coverage for about 50 CAD each. Hope to never use it. Ever.

Same here , you also get a discount for triple A membership, and as we live in UK we call them and speak to Helene who is fantastic to deal with .
