wow, great pic. Hopefully you can give us more details of the trip...must have been business. Wasn't that route featured on Ice Road Truckers?

That is on the road heading to Inuvik, if that is where the Ice Road Truckers were leaving from. Inuvik is where the ground road stops and the ice roads begin.

I will take a guess but it really isn't fair as I knew where you were going for your trip. My guess is the Dempster Highway heading north out of Whitehorse.

I did see a little snow in the mountians outside Haines Junction. This was the view from the cabin we stayed in.
