  1. Great update! My sled has been out of commission (busted trailing arm) for a week today. With 8-10 inches fallen in the last few days it burns not to be out riding. The ours Blanc club meeting went very well. Will be operating at 100% shortly. Trail pass sales are higher than average. And all groomers operational and grooming regularily. Motion was passed to share trails with atvs in the baskatong area (formerly split) this year, in the sections that require it only. Hope to be out again soon. Happy to hear midrange is taking advantage of the conditions!

    Ride on!

  2. Beautiful! The smaller lakes in the maniwaki area have started to freeze over. Along with the eagle river. 6-8 inches fell in the area with more reported to the south. Like you said mid range. If the weather keeps cold, which it appears to be doing, we should have a great season!

  3. welcome aboard my friend

Thanks bud! I see your from cantley. My brother recently bought a house on mont joel road. Was wondering where the nearest trail access is for you? Most of the time we trailer from my place in maniwaki or start here. But would be nice to leave from his area if possible sometime.

  4. The pic that crazysnow posted at the top of this thread was from a few days ago , so nice to see fresh falling snow !

As i'm sure you know Rabaska lodge is on the shores of the great Baskatong

Stoked to see some snow near my place. I'm a short ride from baskatong and the epic montagne diable

Have been considering packing up and driving north until I find enough snow to ride! I upgraded to a vertical escape RMK this year, so will be spending lots of time up there looking for some good backcountry to ride. Would be nice to find some guys who are more familiar with the area to get the down low on where to go

  5. Welcome sledheadrmk, I am west of Montreal and sled a lot in the Outaouais region, I also have a place in Duhamel for stop overs and begin rides from. Be happy to share some trails with you.

Right onn! Hows the riding in papineau? Never been down there on a sled. Only to hunt. I'm in maniwaki and have lots of room in my driveway for trucks/trailers. The trail is about 100ft from my house :)

  6. New member here. Happy to have found this forum. Lookin to put on lots of kms this year and always happy to meet new people. Would be great to try and organize some get togethers, and thrash some trails!

I noticed there's not to many people commentig inn this regional section in a while so hopefully we can get something going here. French or english, doesn't matter! We all have one thing in comon, sleddin is a way of life :)
