  1. trying to install snofone on bv2s, a little confused as how to install speakers, where do they end up? any pics? or video for install? what secures them in place?

They just fit behind the side padding at the rear of each removable section. Take the side pads out and put the mini speakers in the rear and put the pads back. The padding will hold them in place.

  2. perhaps even more important than the exchange rate is what you actually pay for a canadian dollar, in other words, the commision. At my bank Friday the 7th a canadian dollar cost $1.05 US. Can anyone beat that?

    That's why I use an ATM machine.j

  3. The best thing to do is have your local snowmobile club contact us directly and we will ship them the groomer warning beacons right away.

They are free of charge, and we have them in stock.

    Ryan

    Hi Ryan,

All of the Pittsburg Ridge Runner Snowmobile Club 4 Pisten Bully and the Snow-Track groomers all have the beacons. :good: Thank you very much for supplying them at NO CHARGE to the club. :)

Also, I received my Snow Phone DMS for my new BV2s helmet and I installed it today. Unfortunately when I hooked it up only the right ear speaker worked. I called your company and in a matter of a few seconds they determined I had the stereo "Micro Blasters" instead of the mono ones. The correct ones are being sent to me at no charge. What great service! :good:

I now have 4 of your communicators and they all work very well and your service is second to none! :yahoo:

  4. Bernie.....can you tell us how you came up with 15% when the

GST (Goods and Services tax) is at 6%

PST (Provincial Sales Tax ) is at 7.5%

It is because the 6% includes the 7.5% in its calculation. So you are getting taxed on a tax!!!! :help:

  5. Steven I have a good friend who put it all in perspective for me one day when we were talking about gas prices etc. I mentioned that the price of gas had increased recently here in New Brunswick and I asked him the price in his province. His reply was ANDY THERE ARE 2 THINGS IN LIFE YOU NEED AND IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT THE COST IS #1 BEER #2 GAS. Well after that conversation I stopped worring about these little things and I group sledding in with #1 & #2. I could not agree more with your statement about life being short as you & I both know things can change in an instant forever.

Finally, some people with their heads screwed on RIGHT! :good:

  6. i took my dad on an 800 mile saddlebag 2 years ago when he was 59, kept it to 50 or so for the most part, went from St Georges out towards Squatec and back. He lives in FL and had only ridden 1 x in 03 for 120 miles or so since the early 80's. GReat father son time.

I am 63, wish my son had more time so we could do something like that. :good: I guess I will just have to enjoy the cross country trips with the wife. :yahoo:

  7. I bought a 1999 Formula III 700 back in the fall of 1998 from a dealer in Quebec. At that time with the exchange rate at about 1.55 it was about $1,100.00 less expensive getting it in Canada. The only thing was Ski-Doo would not honor the warranty. That is probably why the US dealers won't sell Ski-Doo's to Canadian citizens.

I didn't care because the dealer said he would do any repairs at cost if something went wrong during the warranty period. I trusted the dealer and the sled was great. The only thing that went wrong during the warranty period was a bent track clip that damaged one of the sliders. I took it to the dealer and he did the repair for just the cost of the new slider, no labor.

That was a great touring machine and got great gas mileage. Of course a couple of years later they stopped making that engine. :sorry: My wife absolutely loved it. :good:

  8. Bill were they registered in canada? or not registered at all. I would think it's considered a motor vehicle and like a car would have to be registered somewhere. probably the only way to really show ownership unless you carry title and bill of sale at all times. I was stopped by Q.p.p. on the trail last winter and they checked to see if vin# on reg. matched vin# on sled. I never thought of not registering. Thanx for shedding some light on the subject , nobody needs a $200 trail coupon.

Just to make it perfectly clear. The "Trail Pass" you purchase in Canada is just that a trail pass, NOT a registration. I think many Canadian riders from the US think it is also a registration.

Also, since Canada honors NH registrations, Canadian registered sleds can come to NH and ride without any additional cost.

  9. it's a matter of principle.

And crossing the border is a snap for me. They seem to recognize me, as a frequent border crosser.

And it is not a sure thing that "you will need a passport eventually". Our Senator Pat Leahy is working hard to prevent passports from being required.

Very wrong move on his part.IMO Is he is in favor of illegals getting driver licenses too?

  10. That's why I don't carry a BC, the stone tablet gets a little heavy

    NO PASSPORTS NEEDED THIS WINTER.

It remains to be seen what happens next summer, but at least for this winter you won't need a passport.

...But....If you have the passport it makes it sooooooo much easier! :good:

I cross quite often to go to the dentist/doctors and shop for fresh vegetables in Quaticook. Since I got the passport getting back into the states is a breeze. :good:

You will need a passport eventually so, why not get it now and avoid the rush! Especially since the price of a new passport may go up! :unknw:

  11. We have a family cottage in Ayer's Cliff on the lake. I grew up riding an old Snow Cruiser around the lake and fields that are now housing developments. Last time I rode around there was about 18 years ago. Been meaning to go back every year, but the lousy snow been keeping us in the Lanaudiere and St Raymond area. Amybe this season we can make a loop. What's a day pass in Vermont go for?

By-the-Way, all Canadian registrations are honored in NH. :shok: You (your resident Canadian registered snowmobiles) do not need to re-register in NH or buy a trail pass. :good: Come on Down!!!! :yahoo: The exchange rate is pretty close to 1 to 1. :good:
