  1. monday I rode 100 miles. Left at 9 with 3 couples. One of the sleds had a problem and they were headed towards Forestville. Took them to Villenaue's. Ended up being a stator problem. Left Villenue's at 12 noon and brought sled to Spence's. Having valves adjusted. Sled now has 12,400 miles on it.

    Today I rode my 09 and rode 175 miles. Went to Ski-Bee- Doo for coffee and then to Scooby Raid for lunch. It was a real "I B Day". Cold and sunny.

    Received email that Grooming is back on for the Saguenay Club and that the Caribou-Conscrits will be grooming until at least this Sunday.

    I was planning one last saddle bag trip starting around the 19 or 20 what are you thoughs on grooming by then

  2. we will be up this tuesday back to truck friday thinking riding up to see Bill at the old HI maybe ride with him or do a loop around the lake to robervile then back to the truck I would like to ride the pipe line did than a few years ago with Stan (zuesand)and would like to do it again

    in you opion iceman what town would be better to start in lac aux sable or shwainigan for a 3 day saddle bag trip

  4. No need more to go on Jeff. Not sounding like anywhere. There is a motel in lac a tortue, i think. (turtle lake) near Pizza du lac and a gas station.Wish i knew.

    Iceman I got more info its motel Di No in lac aux stables.how is this area to ride out of? me and a buddy are heading up tuesday till friday.is it a safe place to leave the truck.we will probly saddle bag it up to see Bill and 7 uf us are going up the 18-23.I usually go to hotel safai not to familiar with this are only been 3 times

  5. 4 of us did that last year in late feb it was close a few nights on the north shore the futher east you go the only problem we had was hotel cooper in mocherville we ended up riding to chandler a got in at 1am.we were told is was the busiest week of the year of the year with the most tours.Its the smaller towns with only a few chocies or just 1 hotel you might have a problem with.

  6. any updates?going from sun to wed would like to leave pittsburg or sawyerville cross over the boarder and go to rdl then back or should we think of shawinigan?

    the less time in the truck the better pittsburg/sawyerville are both a little over 3 hrs and shawinigan is 6hrs any help would be greatly appreciated

    it is either in the nothern part of shawinigan or north of the city kind of a small place with kitchen in the rooms it sounded like lock stable or something close it has direct trail access thats about all I have sorry

    You do realize that the conditions in Pittsburg are 'sub-prime' at this time?

    Yes I do I jst need to break the new sled in and at this point time and money won't allow me to go were I realy want to go but hopefully soon

  9. 4 of us did the whole area started at rdl last week of feb worst week as there was to much snow and lots of tours we found hotels no problem we did not call ahead and make any resv and only had 1 problem at hotel cooper selling out so we rode on I did the same trip 6 years ago in late march samething imo not need to stress over planning things out just ride enjoy most days are between 200-250 as things are a little spread out the fether out you get

I have a 09 600 etec tnt its has premiun guages on it with the module to make it all work xtra tall windshied and short windshield yellow hand guards both taken off after the first ride to cold for me yellow belly pan side deflectors mirrors 165mm bar risers all black seat it has a best warranty till feb of 2014 after this weekend it will have a new 1'' track on it as the 1.25 Putt on last year was used and now needs to be replaced it has sharper bars 6'' in the middle 4'' on out sides almost new new hi fax and I am replacing any boggies wheels that need it and since I am replacing the track I am goimg to replace the jack shaft bearing when I am there it also has a stage 1 clutch kit from howards it has a tunnel bag and saddle bags the rear bumper is bend from towing my buddy out last year the odometer show 3800 is miles but was replaced at 2400 so 6200 total miles on it I ride canada a lot so looking to go back to a 4 stroke I have never had a problem beside guages frosting over I will try and get pics this weekend when I pull it out and complete all of this work I am treating this sled as if I am going to ride it all season becuse thats what I will do if I dont get the right price $6500
