  1. Crossed the border today and unloaded in Cowansville, was snowing very heavy and windy but warm 32 F. They have lots of snow but the base is thin and the creeks are open. Rode a total of 50 miles, some sleds out also lots of 4 wheelers, the trails criss cross with each other often, be careful. There is a beaver dam on 35N that is open but OK to cross. They need more snow and some colder temps, not bad for the Townships this early though. I am going further north tomorrow. Can't load pics, I'll try later.

  2. post-484-0-27277200-1356832690_thumb.jpgThe season looks to be off to a good start lets hope it lasts for awhile before we get a warm spell. Anyway I have not ridden in the townships since McDoo and me went in 2009, I know they have the snow, I live right on the border hoping to start from Bedford or Cowansville and head into Granby and maybe Valcourt, anyone riding in these areas let me know how the trails are. Thanks

Another pic of McDoo and me back in 09, Lets Ride !!

  4. The trails in Lanaudiere-Mauricie were awesome last week, lots of snow, very well groomed. Started out from St Come with a different trail direction every day. La Coin Lavigne is a great place to stay and a garage to park your sled. Checked out the ice castles in St Come, went into St Donat and St Michel. 400 miles later and can't wait for Monday when I head back up. HAPPY TRAILS !! :drinks::yahoo::lol::yahoo::good::clapping:

  5. I am jonesing. I am looking for someone to ride with in Canada next week with. Meet you there, drive up together, whatever. Mt. Valin area. Anyone interested?

I'm interested but were thinking of Labelle, into Mt. Laurier a little closer drive. What days are you thinking of ? You can meet us in Plattsburgh head up from there. We might leave on Wednesday and come back on friday, I have to work on New Years eve. If thats not good the following week we might be a little more open for a longer trip. If we don't get snow soon the Gaspe is looking good after New Years, leave on monday the 2nd and whenever from there. Were all Jonesing, lets ride !!

  6. :good: alright heres the scoop, during this week we got rain on wednesday, so know we've got a good bottom crust, and as of friday noon its been snowing since yesterday, not a full on storm but not to gentil either.... howere you can not go on the trails here yet they haven't been groomed but if you want to get in a short ride before the official season you can come up the lepine road, or some people call it the chemin des draveur.... Hope to see you all soon

snow white and big al :drinks:

Keep us posted we are looking forward to going up after Christmas, hopefully Santa is good to me and mother nature does her snow dance. Looking forward at starting from Mt. Laurier and seeing where we end up from there. :drinks:

  7. WOW, great trip planned, I admire you for venturing out like that, I have been through alot of your trails along the way but have never been to the Gaspe yet, I would love to try that but time and money are always the essence. If there isn't any snow soon we will be trucking up to Gaspe and riding around the pennisula. GOOD LUCK !!

  8. OK Ladies and Gents, we all have been in the garage polishing, planning and now let the snow begin. Mother nature has a way of making or breaking us. Anyway lets hear of some planned trips, I'm thinking Gaspe next week looks good above and has been snowing below. Would like a little closer but you know you got to go where theres snow.
