Hello,
What I did is at:
http://users.nac.net/alex/or-trails.html
Once I found the maps listed above, I stopped the project.
To those who think $100 is too much -- let me get something straight. You've spent $10k on a sled, a gas stop costs $50 each time, you probably have $1000 in riding gear, you tow your trailer with a $40k vehicle, you bought a $200 GPS, and $100 for maps is too much?
I don't know what your time is worth, but mine is worth more than this. Sitting in front of my PC, converting tracks into maps seems crazy to me.
Thanks for the list. I just paid $350. for a 60csx and don't know s@%t about it yet, But I know I want to learn it and use it, Ive been lost to much.

off the $250.00.... $40 goes for liability insurance ($500,000.00).It is refundable for Canadian residents not for US residents.
Thanks......But what took you so long answer. LOL
Really, Thank you

Is a portion of the $250. cost of a trail permit for insurance? If so is that refundable if you have proof of insurance from USA. ???
Thanks

I know that this is the Federation .... but do not trust they trail condition!
Go to the website of the snowmobile club in stead!

Thank you very very much for the GREAT photos and info. I have to ask one question though.............
Do you sleep on that tractor too, I see morning photos, day photos, night photos all in the same post. you put more miles on your rig than I dream of putting on my sled and truck to go sled. WOW!
Great job, you help me make it through the day!

I met the CEO of the Quebec Federation (Raymond) in Prince Edward Island back on the 10th of November at a meeting. We ere talking about HCS and I told him about QuebecRider.com. He hadn't heard about it but said he would check it out. Looks like he did, and liked it.
That is GREAT news.

Head up I 87, on the last exit before the Canadian border get off and turn right, go 7 miles. You will be heading to Rouses Point. Call a minimun of 10 minutes before, so I can get my stuff ready, and the trailer hooked up. 518 569 6375.
George.

I am sure they have lots of "Other Business" but I bet the snowmobile business, puts the icing on the cake!
And you are an asset to there business
If, I say If, you ever realy retire, I would think they would show you there appreation in some way.
Thanks Bill.
I too can blame Bill for his GREAT posts that drew me up there to paradise (my first trip to that aera) last year for a FULL week of riding. I met some fantastic folks, locals and snowmobilers alike. I had a break down out on the trail and had to be towed in The shop went out of there way to fix my sled and get me back riding And charged a very fair rate and made sure I knew how to get back as I was riding solo at this point.
Thanks very much Bill
hope to ride with you again this year.
