I live in NY. I have read many stories about NY police writing BS tickets that were for revenue generation. I have read stories about BS tickets in the UP. I guess cops will be cops. Its lousy when you get burned with a BS ticket.
In my opinion I would not let a ticket (and a cop that I would never see again) keep me from enjoying a great vacation on Quebec trails.
Thanks for the heads up on Rawdow.
X2,
I have not got a ticket on a sled ( a few driving to go sled, but that's another story) but I agree, Go to Quebec and enjoy the great trails that are away from Rainbow.
And thanks for sharing your story.

Just one less than Bill would work great for me , but in reality I'll probably only get 500 or so in NY.

This Moto-Ski is like the first sled I ever rode.
The Yamaha is owned by my friend Erik. It's a 71 or 72. He & his brother bought it together new from Johnson's Farm near Belvidere,NJ. He said back in the day Johnsons was a top selling dealer & was awarded for it with a trip to the factory in Japan.
Great pictures.
There is a guy in Cortland NY who use to be a Moto-Ski dealer and he claims he has two brand new Moto-ski sleds still in the crates. He also has some parts still. And he still has the Moto-Ski sign on the front of his barn, and it looks to be in great shape.

The Importance of Walking
Walking can add minutes to your life.
This enables you at 85 years old
to spend an additional 5 months in a nursing
home at $7000 per month.
My grandpa started walking
five miles a day when he was 60.
Now he's 97 years old
and we don't know where he is.
I like long walks,
especially when they are taken
by people who annoy me..
The only reason I would take up walking
is so that I could hear heavy breathing again .
I have to walk early in the morning,
before my brain figures out what I'm doing..
I joined a health club last year,
spent about 400 bucks.
Haven't lost a pound.
Apparently you have to go there.
Every time I hear the dirty word 'exercise',
I wash my mouth out with chocolate.
I do have flabby thighs,
but fortunately my stomach covers them.
The advantage of exercising every day
is so when you die, they'll say,
'Well, she looks good doesn't she.'
If you are going to try cross-country skiing,
start with a small country.
I know I got a lot of exercise
the last few years,......
just getting over the hill.
We all get heavier as we get older,
because there's a lot more information in our heads.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
AND
Every time I start thinking too much
about how I look, I just find a Happy Hour
and by the time I leave, I look just fine.
You could run this over to your friends
But just e-mail it to them!

Very nice, Thanks for passing it on .

MichiganRev is a youngin. Problem is every year he gets a year older....................I do too.
That's not a problem....if I remember the quote correctly "Growing old is manditory Growing up is optional"
P.S. Thanks for the Calendar on here.

Thank You...Please send snow that's not asking to much is it?? :D
If I had the power to send snow I surly would....but then again if I had that "power" I'd be to busy to ride.

i was looking at some old pics .
where's this one ??? easy....
groomer !!!
After knowing how many hours you are in that tractor, it has to be on you way home after grooming your regular 14 hour shift cause of the low shadow.

I believe this would be ~ 10-15 km from Murdochville (Gaspe) on the side trail from Murdochville to Relais la Cache (Trail 595), looking at the backside of Chic Choc Mtns. Trail is not well signed so best to ride shortly after it's groomed because it can drift in. Great trail and I think it's best to ride from Murdochville side for the scenery.
I stopped to take the same picture.
WOW!! on his very first post he rings the bell. Give that man a
Great pictures, I don't have any to put up but I love looking at them (especially the La Wemontachie)
