Monts-Valin trails

Recommended Posts

Hello Sledders,

The Caribou-Conscrits club in the Monts-Valin, Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean (Quebec) region, announced Friday, November 5th that 600 km (372 miles) of trails will be open at the end of November. So far these will be the only trails open to sledders this winter. You may have heard about the conflict between the Quebec Farmers Union and the Quebec Governement. Basically, the farmers have decided to block access to their land in protest of government policy. This means that a portion of snowmobile trails which pass through these agricultural lands are not accessible for the moment, the exception being the 600 km of trails in the Monts-Valin area.

This situation might be resolved at any moment so we will do our best to keep you informed. If you want to follow the events yourself, we invite you to visit the news section of our site www.snowmobilersparadise.com.

From the same site, you can order our new trail map or a trail acces pass. We also invite you to participate in our snowmobile topic poll. You could receive our new waterproof trail map.

Keep in touch or keep in touch with Saguenay Bill who knows the trails more then me.
