  1. Couldn't agree more. Not everyone has studs, but almost everybody has carbide runners.

I would bet ski carbides do more damage than the studs at road crossings, next it will be no carbides except those that come from the OEM. Also not all Snowmobile manufactures offer an ice ripper track like BRP does. I agree with Iceman and others though, ride normal and respectful and I "doubt" we will be ticketed.

  2. Hi Jack and Sandi, enjoying your reports. Jack just tell Sandi your sled isn't running right and you want her to ride it and tell you what is wrong. Tell her it will probably take 200 to 300 miles for her to figure exactly what's wrong. Yeah, that's the ticket! Have fun and stay safe, hope to see you in February.

  3. Hi Gary and Pat, also glad to hear that you made it home safe. Gary about that "incident", shhh, I'm telling everyone you were just straighting out the curve, lol. Hey did you make it down the trail for those baby back ribs? If not we will definitely do it next year!

I also had a great trip as always. I got to finally meet the famous Gutz brothers, had a great time riding with you guys.

Jack & Sandi, always a pleasure to see you guys and ride with you.

And Bill your an inspiration to us all, thanks again for all you do.

Boy oh boy, the time sure does fly by when your at the Delta, too fast, you blink and it's come and gone.

Well we all have good times and great memories to hold us over till next year.

Everybody have a great year and the Good Lord willing will do it all again next year,

    Take care,

    Dave

  4. Happy New Year to all QuebecRiders. Just curious to the price of gas in the great province of Quebec. I paid 1.65 today for a gallon of

regular unleaded here in Michigan, premium is going for 1.95. If I remember right I paid on average a 1.46 per litre for premium last

February in Quebec and 1.31 on average for regular unleaded. Just wondering while I'm here waiting for snow. Thanks

  5. Hi Everyone,

Jack & Sandi here and I mean HERE! Quebec! :good:

We kept reading how much snow is still on the ground so we put work aside and headed north.

We drove up today to St Raymond, Hotel Roquemont. There is snow. It is still mid February by the looks of things. I talked to a couple of guys from Ottawa when we got here. They were just up at Lac St Jean and they said it was great.

Our plan is to ride up to Chicoutimi tomorrow, Monday, and stay at the Sagueneenne. Tuesday we will Tour du Lac. Wednesday we will ride back to St Raymond. A nice three day ride.

    We will post tomorrow.

    Jack & Sandi

    Hi Jack and Sandi,

Glad to see you could get another ride in, looking forward to your reports. Let us know Jack how many miles you end up with on your new sled. Enjoy!

    Dave
