rain here this morning and foggy !!
we left camp yesterday afternoon and trail was already soft !!
btw ,between murdochville and la cache ....sunday around 1 pm maybe ...we were having lunch on the side of the trail...2 sleds came by us ...linda said : hey !!thats our friends from the maritimes !!

We were up there yes, heading NE from 10am to 3pm, Group one was an Orange Summit and Green Freeride,
Group 2 was White Nytro ( moi ) and an Orange Summit, we came back later on. Were you at one of the warming shacks? I think I would have recognized you guys, how big was your group? We only seen 10 sled all day!!

Should look just fine on the Tundra, then I can just drive around with the sled since we may never see snow!!!

"You will need every bit of that track and then some!!" I agree, we run to Rimouski last year, the group were all trail guys, it was good, seen the great trail system but I know there is some serious riding to the East!!

Working on a few ideas, P-L-Croix is easy but if New Richmond will get us in deeper, faster we might do that as well. Any suggestions? We'd like to get up to ride with Jack for a day and stay a night or two. I know the 595 will be a great run and could spend a full day in there.

Great thanks, we like to do some sight seeing as well, just didn't want to get in there and run short on fuel and day light.

To the south you can see Quebec City, NB, PEI, NS and even Maine. Anticosti Island as well to the NW. Love to see it all white this time tomorrow!!!

You keep tempting us with these pics we may have to do the 9 hour drive and find you....if the south side doesn't soon get snow we will have to drive the trucks instead of riding up from NB.. Keep us posted!!!

well ,we 're done for this season !!it has been very warm here since a few days.for sure ,still some snow in the ''interior ''but i guess you won t able to ''connect '' with other trails !!
Thanks for all your hard work, we actually got up for the first time in Feb, you had things looking 110%, trips are in the works for 2013.
i expect to bring back the machine in albertville very soon !!!....while it s cold !!

We a planning a trip to Gaspe this year, maybe sooner than later as the rain will not let up here, we will be crossing in Campbellton. 2-3 day trip and we are looking for some input on a place to stay, ( Safe and easy ) . We are thinking about riding the Matapedia - Amqui area, we are looking for off trail riding as well as great trails. Any help would be appreciated. Any feedback on other areas would be nice as well.

Well we ended up heading to Gaspe on short notice and on a trail run, I have to say I'm still in awww. It is great sledding and the trails are amazing. I was keeping an eye out for Groomer, we only seen 8 sleds on a 185 mile run from Pointe-a-la-Croix to Rimouski. I'll take some more advice on day trips around Amqui and how long a guy needs to get in and see the Chic-Chocs..

Get in that machine and get to work!! Enough picture taking, no wonder the signs are not up yet!!
We are leaving Nova Scotia tomorrow around 4pm, Stephen, Dave and I. We will stop in Riverview and pick up Andyman and be in PALC about 9pm.
I have no idea which way we will go Thursday morning yet. That decision will likely be made tomorrow night with the map spread out on the bed with a couple woobly pops!
If you have time, please update us on how you make out, we might be heading that way next week.
