" hi nine2nine !! great meeting and riding with you off the trail !! rain here this morning and foggy !! we left camp yesterday afternoon and trail was already soft !! btw ,between murdochville and la cache ....sunday around 1 pm maybe ...we were having lunch on the side of the trail...2 sleds came by us ...linda said : hey !!thats our friends from the maritimes !! was is it you with an orange summit ???? about grooming ,i ll see what will happen next season .........................?" We were up there yes, heading NE from 10am to 3pm, Group one was an Orange Summit and Green Freeride, Group 2 was White Nytro ( moi ) and an Orange Summit, we came back later on. Were you at one of the warming shacks? I think I would have recognized you guys, how big was your group? We only seen 10 sled all day!! J
  5. Was great to meet you all, hope you make it home safe and sound....Did Groomer retire??? Haven't seen any pics...
  6. Should look just fine on the Tundra, then I can just drive around with the sled since we may never see snow!!!
  7. Jack, How does the Tundra carry the sled rack? I've been looking into one, who makes that one?
  8. How you guys making out with this warn weather?
  9. "You will need every bit of that track and then some!!" I agree, we run to Rimouski last year, the group were all trail guys, it was good, seen the great trail system but I know there is some serious riding to the East!!
  10. 144" x 1.75" and 144" x 1.5", keep us posted!!!!
  11. Working on a few ideas, P-L-Croix is easy but if New Richmond will get us in deeper, faster we might do that as well. Any suggestions? We'd like to get up to ride with Jack for a day and stay a night or two. I know the 595 will be a great run and could spend a full day in there.
  12. Great thanks, we like to do some sight seeing as well, just didn't want to get in there and run short on fuel and day light. thanks
  13. 4 hours do it? 6 messing around?
  14. Can someone give me the details on this run? half day run or full day? Groomed, much traffic? Thanks
  15. To the south you can see Quebec City, NB, PEI, NS and even Maine. Anticosti Island as well to the NW. Love to see it all white this time tomorrow!!!

    Maps

I'm sure I downloaded a map of the Gaspe Peninsula on here, any idea where that was? Thanks
  19. You keep tempting us with these pics we may have to do the 9 hour drive and find you....if the south side doesn't soon get snow we will have to drive the trucks instead of riding up from NB.. Keep us posted!!!
  20. Are we done for the year up there, I can't figure out if these are new or old pics.. This heat is torture!!! CHeers.
  21. Well we ended up heading to Gaspe on short notice and on a trail run, I have to say I'm still in awww. It is great sledding and the trails are amazing. I was keeping an eye out for Groomer, we only seen 8 sleds on a 185 mile run from Pointe-a-la-Croix to Rimouski. I'll take some more advice on day trips around Amqui and how long a guy needs to get in and see the Chic-Chocs..
  22. If you have time, please update us on how you make out, we might be heading that way next week.
  23. NSnowCruiser, this is the info I'm looking for, you may have read my mind. thanks
