  1. We are starting just above Laval in Terrebonne. Thinking about heading from here to Mont- Laurier, maybe stay at Comfort inn??? From there we dont know where to go? maybe toward St- Michel des Saints, Clova, Parent? Then back to Terrebonne. Any suggestions on areas to ride good trails and good accomadations that are snowmobile friendly and easy trail access. Like to do 225-275 miles a day.

Leave on sleds Thursday morning and return to Terrebonne Saturday evening. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated for both areas to ride to and from with lodging suggestions.

    Thanks....

  2. Hey Bill,

Met you last year at the HI(then) we were the group from NH, you have been to my brothers restaurant on Lake Winnipesaukee. Anyway, we were scheduled to be up your way tmrw leaving from Quebec city, to the casino, then the your area and Roberval.

We decided to postpone our trip and maybe head up Feb 20-25. Any thoughts?? any snow in forecast? do you think trails will recover by then or should we wait. Loved riding Mt Vallin last year, there must of been 10 feet of snow up there. Wish that was the case this year.

Any suggestions or trail conditions/updates would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your commitment and congrats on your magazine article.

  3. What area where you in? We have decided to postpone our trip until the end of Feb. Hopefully by then the area will recover with some snowfall. If they dont get any snow in the next 3 weeks I would be suprised, then again I was suprised it rained their in the end of Jan.

We contacted hotels in the area and they said not able to travel from point A to point B. Some local area may be ok, but bridges and rivers and trails to gas was questionable. Did you see a different condition of the area where you were??? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

  4. Planning on a trip next wed, starting at four points sheraton and riding up trail #3 to the casino. Original plan was to leave casino Fri am and head to lac st jean, but thats not gonna happen from what i have seen and heard. Spoke to someone at sheraton ystdy, said 40 sled rode out of hotel, destination unknown. Person at casino said trails are very hard and rideable. groomers went out and did best they could. Maybe some snow showers here and there will help alot. Anyone with first hand knowledge or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Any other thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks....
