  1. Thanks GT that is what I was looking for. I think we are going to push past that and go to Mekoos. With only three bar stools somebody will have to stand all night
  2. Thank you for taking the time to post. I had thought about Meekoos but wanted to find out any options for something closer to the park, it's a mileage thing.
  3. I am planning a trip and need some ideas on lodging around Riviere- Rouge. Planning to be heading west on TQ63 coming out of the Mont-Tremblant park then north on the 322 then 319. Any ideas are much appreciated.
  4. My plan was to meet up with one other rider around Shawinigan and ride those days. It would have been nice to meet up with sombody else but we are stuck in a blizzard with the roads shut down. Seems kind of funny that we can't go snowmobiling because its snowing to much.
  5. Mike I was talking about Flagstaff, I've been going there for close to 50 years. I’ve only recently started riding from Eustis and Stratton. Thanks for the tip on RDL and Montmagny.
  6. That was one of a few questions I was specifically asked at the boarder. “Have you been arrested for drunk driving since the last time you were in Canada?”
  7. Mike that’s funny. I have spent decades at the other end of the lake. Haven't done that much riding in Maine most of my riding has been north of the St Laurent. It is just getting harder for me to find people to take the drive north.
  8. I had searched for information about crossing the boarder at Coburn Gore. The maps indicated that there was a short local trail after the border crossing that would bring you to the TQ63 but I could not find any other information. A couple of us decided to test it last week. The ITS86 in Maine was well marked and groomed. After crossing the border the trail starts 350m down the road and this is marked. The next few miles had no signage and the trail was narrow and only one sled had been down it some time before the last snow fall. Following the GPS tracks from Tilou Biscuit made it a lot easier than it would have been with without them. As expected TQ63 was well marked once we got there.
