  1. First day overcast and spiting snow.  Decided to head north to parent.  Trails were groomed nice and flat a few ticks on the skis.   At parent we headed down 13 to fer a cheval.  Trails were still in decent shape.  We meet up with a huge group of 30 sleds headed north from ste--anne-du -lac.  Trails got rougher after meeting with them.  We then took the local trail around reservoir mitchinamecus.  Trails threw here hadn't been touched by a groomer in awhile.  Half way across we crossed into a different club that had been grooming recently.  When we got to 33 to get back to 100 lac it was rough.  190 miles for the day.  But all is good while fueling up the sleds we saw the groomer going threw the woods 😀

  2. 39 years in the sport.  Some whenew I was so young I don't remember.   I will give up all other hobbies to fund my disease for this one.  And now it includes longer trips to QC.  Once u go it's just part of the sickness.

  3. Looks like Comfort Inn in Mont Laurier would work to start our trip.  It's the closest to us on the south side.  Looking for about two hundred miles a day. We have rode around Riviere du loup and can do two hundred a day there no problem, but are not sure that the trails will be that fast running that far north. We've ridden from St Zenon to Repo. Is it that kind of riding?

  4. Hi first time posting. Looking to do a saddlebag trip around the Woodrunner loop.  The big loop.  I am from Central NY looking for a southern starting point on this loop then suggestions for subsequent nights.  Have rode a lot in Quebec last two years and have the desire to ride here as much as possible  now.  Thanks for any info.
