As a friend said to me one time " I would rather be looking at it than for it"!!
I have one on my BVs2, but seldom plug it in. However the cord is always in my pocket when I do need it and never miss any driving because of vision.
A very small cost when you think about going out on a cold morning and having to stop because of frosting up.
My $0.02 worth.
yes same here my cord is wraped around my bars at all times when i need it its there
a e shild is one of the best investments u can make for touring quebec

some prople have no probs with fogging
but mine was foging up got the electric shild and would never ride without one now with all the money and effert we but in to go riding its well worth it to enjoy the ride rather than fighting to see cold hands from trying to scrape frost

as of now it looks like u would be better off starting from club beauceville its about 50 miles past the rt 201 border give them a call they can give u the info u want 418 774 9727
also u can try armstrong club that is just over the border like 15 miles 418 597 3709
but if your going to drive that far it might be easyer to just go to rdl

the trail from quebec is very nice ride to moose valley its old logging rd wide and fast till the last few miles near club de nord in e town then if u go north to rdl its a rr bed 80 miles to rdl club house

I'll take a look at the map later tonight, what time do you ride out in the AM?
One brother is up at 4, the other 9... we want to get to the clubhouse and hotel during the day, so we will try and hustle him along, at least that AM.
