  1. Going to be interesting

An intense weather system will affect most of Quebec beginning Sunday morning over southwestern regions and ending on Monday evening over the Lower North Shore.

The most likely scenario at this stage is that southern and central Quebec will see rain. Heaviest rain will be along the mountains from the Laurentians to Charlevoix, as well as the southern Gaspe Peninsula.

Heavy snowfall could affect northern regions from the Abitibi to La Grande. Heavy snowfall may also occur along the North Shore in Eastern Quebec.

At this point it is unclear if there will be significant mixed precipitation with this system.

Strong winds will likely affect many regions especially east of Quebec City. These winds along with high tides may cause coastal flooding in along the North Shore.

As the system is still several days away, changing storm track and intensity could cause this scenario to evolve differently.

Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to tempsviolent.quebec@ec.gc.ca or tweet reports to #meteoqc.

  2. I need to pull the pic out of archives with the young buck pinned under the sled.

He had to be stuck underneath it for at least 10 min with three of us feeling quite helpless.

Actually really scary and reason enough to never ride alone......He was going no more than a whopping 5 mph.

    Be safe out there!

  3. I can see the longer track fighting a push in the corners..,

The 137 is fine on hard pack, loose snow we are all pushing a bit.

Acceptable issue with all the tremendous benefits the sled offers.

Viper has exceeded my expectations to say the least.

Another 2015 2 stroke taking the black trail from Matane to Levis today..

Polaris 600 pro r with less than 2000 miles.
