    It's all part of the adventure!

    Unfortunately I am out of commission for the season after a C 5 C 6 disectomy and fusion yesterday for a herniated disc from a rear ender on 78 W

    Been battling for over a year and finally gave up....feel better already!

    Mouth is watering for next year as it's time for a new sled.....

    Keep me in mind for next year as most of us live within such a close proximity!

    How many hrs of travel from poconos?

    U running solo to the UP?

    What's up .... it's about 13 hours and 850 miles, And yes I'm driving solo and meeting five others in Hulbert then we are saddle bagging across the whole top of th U P from Paradise to Ontonagon ,Lake Gogebic area then heading up to copper Harbor I have done this before 4 to 5 times and have never been disappointed in the U P ...The trails up there are Impeccable they groom all the time " they might even be better than Quebec " yes I said that ... lol believe me I wouldn't be going if I thought it wasn't going to be good ! I leave next wednesday morning around 1am .. Giddy Up !!! :drinks:

    Well .... With Quebec not looking so good I'm headed Midwest to the U.P. Of Michigan I will be running the whole north shore of the U.P. I've been in touch with my contacts and there Is so much snow up there it's unbelievable. Copper Harbor said they might even be at a record this year already for snow. It's been snowing every day since Thanksgiving up there. No joke ! Wish you all luck hope you find snow.

    You should be all good to go, talked with the club today … it's just a D TOUR the trail is supposed to be sweet on a main road that's groomed . that's what they told me .. ? Hope this helps P.S. .. The detour will put you in Chandler.

    I should mention the RDL Universal Hotel has added about 50 rooms and a new spa. Also have an outdoor patio with a bonfire pit (must be gas), and two new outdoor hot tubs with a waterfall going into the hot tubs.

    Might as well host the QuebecRider gathering here this weekend! Oops, never mind, college girls cheerleading competition this weekend.

    Trails perfect yesterday.

    Awoke this morning to 3 inches of new light snow.

    Snow at 6 AM just turned over to sleet. Figures, ten days off and this happens!

    Will update conditions, as I will at least stay another day or two to see if it is ruined or comes back.
