PRESS RELEASE For immediate release OVER $100,000 INVESTED IN SAFETY BY LA CAPITALE GENERAL INSURANCE, THE MINISTÈRE DES TRANSPORTS AND BOMBARDIER RECREATIONAL PRODUCTS Good news for snowmobile and quad clubs Quebec City, November 20, 2008 – To support clubs and promote safe snowmobiling and quad-biking, La Capitale General Insurance is pleased to announce that it will launch an awareness campaign aimed at snowmobilers, quad bikers and drivers on The Weather Network in mid-December 2008 with the theme Be smart, choose safety. This initiative will continue until spring 2009 with 10 commercials airing each day. It was made possible thanks to the partnership of La Capitale General Insurance, the Quebec Ministère des Transports and BRP (Bombardier Recreational Products Inc.). The goal of the campaign is to raise awareness about safety among snowmobile and quad enthusiasts and encourage them to make it a priority. These commercials will be broadcast at the same time that trail conditions are presented, a new investment announced by La Capitale on November 5 as part of its involvement in the sport of snowmobiling.
