Yes , generally , a few minor changes, but the same general area.
Great Thanks for the info.
You guys at Misty River?
-
Thanks RoadRunner for the info. Very much appreciated.
Did the single lane out Johan Beetz follow the old trail 3 GPS tracks into Natashquan? Not a big deal just wondering
-
We will be leaving Sept-Iles on wed. heading out the white trail. Hope to see you! Be safe!
-
Were you guys able to ride the whole thing without the pavement today?
-
Roadrunner will you be hauled from Havre-Saint-Pierre to Aguanish or will you ride that section?
We are leaving next tue or wed from port cartier and heading to Blanc Sablon and maybe up to Lanse au clair and then return.
-
Sounds like a challenge either way you go! We are just trying to look at all options and which one might be best when we are there, depending on weather. Thanks for the info and if you can think of anything that would help us it would be much appriciated. Im going to continue to research as well! Thanks

Snowmonkey, Yes we were at camp love 3 years ago, camp fox this week, not sure where camp caribou is? Maybe you can give us an idea where that one is so we can put it on our visit list lol. We like searching out these places. Best regards RR
Camp Caribou is at N 51 04.784 W067 27.667 Nord Expe uses Camp Caribou and Love for layovers but i dont know details. We would like to find out more about options of staying at these two camps. Also where we could stash fuel if we dont use Relais Gab

Relais up the manicougan reservoir to Fermont is 250 ish by snowmobile, shorter through the pass but not sure how much shorter and can be challenging
Thanks for the info. So you recommend the manicougan to go to fermont? Did you happen to check out camp Love or camp Caribou?
-
How many miles from relais to Fermont and also From relais to Port Cartier? Also how is the 45 Miles going east to trail?
-
Started at the Relais, working both ends of that trail north and south, trail is 45 miles east of Gabriel. Can connect with you about that trip as we did that run in 2013 from lab city to Gabriel in 2013, the lower section from gab to port carter is very clean and open, north section much more challenging
That would be great if we could connect on this. Looks like conditions are great up there! Enjoy

Mark, we are on the manicougan reservoir. At Relais Gabriel.
Had some issues today with all 3 of the 800 extremes. The driven clutch on all 3 are not shifting back properly at times. The boys will do some clutch work to see if they can straightened out.
Heading towards Port Cartier today
Did you start at Relais Gabriel or did you start from Fermont? Coming down fermont Port Cartier trail in March thought maybe i could pick your brain a little. Thanks

where did you stay in saint pamphile? might be heading up that way this year.
-
Wound up leaving from a friends house north of Sherbrooke (Weedon) and stayed at the following towns.
Thetford Mines
St Pamphile
Squatec (near Cabano)
St Anne des Monts
Matane
St Pamhile (again)
Trails were OUTSTANDING all week and we saw more groomers than sledders on the Gaspesie.
Probably rode 700-800 miles of fresh groomed (no other tracks) out of the 1300+ mile trip!!!
Here is a pic of what it looked like most of the time.

Only 2100 miles with too many sled troubles! = 104,981
-
Sometimes i wish my ski doo would perform that well. Cool video!
-
Sorry, Groomer I forgot to say Thank You for all you do. I rode through your area 2 years ago and i have to tell you it still sticks in my head in the middle of july. Thanks Again, Tim

Blizzman You cant be serious!!!!!! Common sense tells us if that were the case all we would see would be signs and i wouldnt enjoy the ride at all because there would be thousands of them within a mile. Wake up and get some common sense or maybe you should just volunteer!!!!!
-
Its amazing how many people are born without common sense!! Also very scary!!!!!

I have the Quebec maps on my Zumo and have used them all last season and so far this year. They are the 'tits" for sure. They show up green and magenta for primary and secondaries and have the trail numbers overlayed on them.
I had a hell of a time getting the file and getting it loaded. Not sure how much help I could provide as a friend walked me through most of it way back when. I could see if I have the file somewhere. PM me your email and If I can find I will send.
Chris
Thanks Chris, I just sent you my e-mail. If you can help I owe you big time.

If you stay in Lac Eduourd you must try this place. Nicole is the hostess and it is a true B & B. Great food neat as a pin and comfortable. Made us feel like grandma was caring for us. A great woman. Right in the middle of town.
Do you have her phone number? We enjoy places like this. Thanks!
